Lasting Powers of Attorney

As its name suggests this is a Power that once written is intended to last indefinitely, even if the person for whom it was written loses the ability, for whatever reason, to manage their own affairs. This Power is often written and held in conjunction with a person’s Will and doesn’t just cover those of mature years, but younger people wanting to make provision in case of an accident or serious illness. Like a Will, it’s a case of getting it done and putting it away.
